This client adores his wife and
wanted to surprise her with a complete master bedroom make-over while she
was out of town. Very romantic! His only request; “my wife loves
purple. Make this a room that she will love to be in.” Without
his wife's knowledge, plans were made and new furniture was picked out, as
was new bedding and accessories. Like a popular TV show, we only had
one weekend to pull this room together. This wouldn’t have been
possible without the help of friends and family who were in on the secret
surprise.

Focal walls were faux-ed with several different purples to compliment the many purples used in the bedding. A warm tan/gold faux finish was applied on the rest of the walls. |

Creating the perfect sitting area was very important to this client. He wanted a place where his wife could retreat to and relax while reading. Now she can curl up in her own luxurious corner with one of her favorite verses hand painted above. Move your mouse over picture to view before photo. |

This client also wanted the master bathroom, once very plain and white to be as warm and inviting as the bedroom and to have a spa quality to it. Now his wife can relax in the tub, surrounded by beauty and ambiance. I’m giving him the husband of the year award! Move your mouse over picture to view before photo.

A muralist was brought in to
paint a Venetian scene on the bathroom wall. She also hand painted
the scrolling around the tub and archway leading into the bathroom, as
well as the verse by the sitting area.
