Shabby Chic

This client started out with some great pieces of furniture.  The room lacked function and needed additional seating.  Because of this, the room was not used and many times overlooked by guests. The client wanted to make this room the gathering place for friends and family.  We brought in additional seating from other areas of the house and placed it to support conversation.  The large armoire was also brought in from another room and became the feature of the room.  A wall color was added in a shade to complement the rug and contrast with the sofa color.  This client enjoyed thrift shopping and had many items that were used to add the final touches.  

A photo table was put together using a secondhand table and a collection of framed photos.	The extra dining room chairs were brought in for additional seating and re-upholstered.  Foot stools were made to add charm while being functional.
